Summer School & Holiday Club in Guernsey
For many children, the long summer break can lead to a gentle loss of momentum. Skills that felt secure at the end of term may take time to return, and confidence can dip slightly as children settle back into routines.
This often becomes most noticeable in the first few weeks of September, when children are working to regain their rhythm rather than moving forward with ease.
Our Summer School in Guernsey is designed to support that transition—helping children maintain progress and return to school feeling confident, settled, and ready for what comes next.
Short, focused mornings in a calm, small-group setting ensure learning feels engaging, supportive, and never overwhelming.
Whether your child would benefit from support or is ready for greater stretch, teaching is carefully matched—within a week that feels purposeful, positive, and genuinely enjoyable.

What They'll Do
A Thoughtful Starting Point
Maths & English
Focused teaching based on pre-assessment, ensuring each child works at the right level.
Thinking Skills
Using the technique 'stop-motion animation', students develop their planning, creativity, and problem-solving skills to create their own video.
Before the programme begins, each child completes short pre-testing in Maths and English.
This allows us to group students by ability and plan teaching that is supportive, appropriately challenging, and tailored from the very first session.
For Children Who:
-
Benefit from smaller group teaching
-
Would value support in Maths or English
-
Would benefit from a boost in confidence

-

-
