LearningClubs is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Primary Maths Tutor to support students aged 5–11 through personalised tuition and intervention sessions.

We are looking for tutors who can build confidence, strengthen mathematical understanding, and help children develop a positive attitude towards learning.
 

The Role

You will work with primary-aged students, delivering engaging and supportive maths tuition tailored to individual learning needs. Students may require support with:

• Core primary mathematics

• Number fluency and arithmetic

• Mathematical reasoning and problem-solving

• SATs preparation

• Independent school and 11+ entrance examination preparation

• Building confidence and reducing maths anxiety

What We're Looking For

• Experience teaching or tutoring primary mathematics

• Strong knowledge of the primary maths curriculum

• A teaching qualification (QTS/PGCE) is desirable

• Excellent communication skills with children and parents

• A patient, encouraging, and child-centred approach

• Confidence using online teaching platforms and digital resources​

• Minimum Level 2 Safeguarding Certification

 

Hours

Flexible after-school and weekend hours.

Typically between 1–8 hours per week, depending on your availability and student demand.
